Padre’s Sacramento office provides a full array of geoenvironmental and environmental services. Geotechnical specialty services provided include assisting school districts in complying with California Department of Education’s (CDE) standards and regulations for new and expanding school sites that are included in the California Code of Regulations, Title 5, Sections 14010, 14011, and 14012.
Our biologists and wetland scientists provide biological and regulatory services in support of large infrastructure projects including landfills, pipelines, water resources, and transportation projects. Our staff has over 30 years experience in conducting wetland and jurisdictional waters delineations and assisting our clients in securing permits under Section 10 of the River and Harbor Act and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. We also have a wide array of experience with special-status species studies and have conducted consultations with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) under Sections 7 and 10 of the federal Endangered Species Act and the Marine Mammal Protection Act, and with the California Department of Fish and Game under Section 2081 of the California Fish and Game Code.
Ms. Powell manages the environmental sciences operations in the Sacramento office and is a senior biologist with over 15 years of professional experience.
Mr. Klein manages the geoenvironmental services operations in the Sacramento office and has over 20 years of experience providing professional geoenvironmental services.
